The old retaining wall was cracked and leaning over in places. The owners originally had a concrete sleeper retaining wall in mind, however a last minute design change was made to VersaWall.

VersaWall is a large concrete block product with a modern rock look face. This job is completed in Charcoal colour. Top caps are used to finishing off the wall.

The benefits of VersaWall is that is is strong and made to last. It has been engineered to 1.4m in height. The central core can be filled for added strength and it looks great too!

We are often asked to retain the boundary lines following a sloped site cut for a new build. Here is an example of Hampton profile in beech colour built out in rocky Googong. We have also included fencing brackets installed on each post to allow for convenient installation of colorbond fence later down the track.

This homeowner required her old Koppers Log retaining wall to be replaced as it was rotten and beginning to collapse.

She chose concrete sleepers because of their high durability and virtually maintenance free. This profile is called “shatter stone” from Canberra Concrete Sleepers in colour charcoal.

Access was tight to remove the old retaining wall from around the existing shed and boundary line.

The Hampton Profile Concrete sleeper from Concrete Sleepers Canberra is a new profile for 2022. This concrete sleeper install was to replace an old Koppers Log wall. The classic look and creamy colour completely refreshed the existing front landscaping.
